Description
Snyder has 5 different toe stops to choose from depending on what you’re looking for. Essentially there are 3 basic sizes; small, medium, and large. The small toe stop is considered a dance toe stops, the medium is considered a junior toe stops, and the large is considered a standard toe stop. Adding to the basic 3 are the Advantage toe stop and the Snyder speed toe stop. The Advantage is the same size as the large but has the stem hallowed out to reduce weight; the speed stop is flattened to accommodate speed skaters that prefer to run on their toes to start a race. Whichever toe stop you choose you only get the best with Snyder. All Snyder toe stops use the same natural rubber compound, this makes them the ideal toe stop for any skating style where grip is needed. Snyder toe stops have long been the most copied style of toe stop in the world. Don't trust the imitators, use the toe stop that works. Sizes Snyder Dance toe stop - small - 38mm diameter, 53mm long
Snyder Junior toe stop – medium - 45mm diameter, 57mm long

Snyder "Junior" Toe Stops
Snyder toe stops have been around for a LONG time, and with good reason. The "Junior" size is pretty unique (call it "mama bear" - it's not the "baby bear", which is more of a dance plug or the "papa bear", which is more of a big speed stop). It lasts a good long time, compared to other toe stops. Unfortunately, it is only available in "American thread", while my Roll Line plates require metric thread. So the choice was to take a chance and re-tap the toestop hole on my expensive Roll Line plates with a tap (one-time thing) or to use a die and convert each set of Snyder stops to metric (if I screw up, a much cheaper option). So Sure Grip, if you're listening, a metric-threaded Junior would be nice (you'll probably have only this one senior citizen customer). Or Roll Line... offer a stop in this "junior" size. In any case, have been using this stop for decades now... which should say something!
