This mouth guard can be difficult to get a kid to mold. It's hot and needs to be wrapped well around the teeth to be effective. If you've ever used one as an adult you know what I mean. My son plays travel hockey and is required to wear mouth guards. Most kids skate around with the large plastic guards tethered to their helmets and hanging out of their mouth. They are not effective protection if not worn as intended. This Sisu mouth guard stays on my sons teeth the whole game and even on the bench because I took the time to ensure it was molded well. He barely knows it's there.
